As part of our Hospitality Hardware Operations function based in Nashua, NH. The Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, monitoring stock movements, and ensuring inventory is organized and properly accounted for. This role involves receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. The Inventory Clerk works closely with warehouse staff, purchasing, and operations teams to support efficient inventory control and minimize discrepancies.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
· Track and record inventory levels in physical and digital systems to ensure accuracy.
· Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation.
· Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse or storage areas following company procedures.
· Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with records.
· Update inventory databases or software with item details, quantities, and movements.
· Label, tag, or mark items with identifying codes, prices, or inventory numbers.
· Coordinate with purchasing and warehouse teams to report low stock or overstock issues.
· Prepare inventory reports and summaries for supervisors or managers.
· Assist with inventory audits, support loss prevention efforts, identify waste in processes, and identify areas of continuous improvement.
· Process shipments through Fedex and UPS.
· Receive parts, service or PO's and release parts from inventory..
Basic Qualifications:
· Proven experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field.
· Basic math and computer skills, including familiarity with inventory software, spreadsheets, and data entry.
· Ability to lift and move items (typically up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
· Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP systems like SAP, NetSuite, or WMS) is preferred.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of safety and handling procedures for warehouse or storage environments.
· Basic understanding of shipping, receiving, and stocking procedures.
· Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
· High School Degree or Associate Degree.
· Experience in inventory control, warehouse, or logistics roles to include conducting inventory audits or cycle counts.
· Proficiency with inventory management software or ERP systems (e.g., Infor, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Fishbowl).
· Forklift certification or experience operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
· Knowledge of inventory best practices and loss prevention strategies.
· Familiarity with barcode/RFID scanning equipment and labeling systems.
· Experience with shipping and receiving procedures including bill of lading and packing slips.
· Experience in MS-Office to include Excel (e.g., formulas, sorting, pivot tables).
· Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment such as manufacturing, retail, or distribution.
