Position Summary: Embedded within the Infor Data Services team, the Java Developer is responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, reusable Java components and services. The role involves using Spring Boot to implement micro-service architectures and integrating them with various databases and data storage solutions, ensuring the performance and scalability of the software in line with Infor's Data strategy.

Essential Duties:

·        Develop reusable and maintainable Java components and services.

·        Implement micro-service architecture using Spring Boot.

·        Design REST APIs with a focus on industry standards.

·        Utilize Spark in Java for data processing tasks.

·        Integrate code with databases, both relational (SQL) and NoSQL.

·        Conduct unit testing to ensure functionality meets design specifications.

·        Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles effectively.

·        Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate technical requirements into effective code.

Basic Qualifications:

·        Minimum of 4+ years of experience in Java development.

·        Strong proficiency in core and advanced Java, including the latest features.

·        Experience with Spring Boot and Spark libraries in Java.

·        Knowledge of database integration, both relational and NoSQL.

·        Familiarity with development tools like Git, Docker, and Linux.

·        Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

·        Experience with Spark using Spring Boot, MongoDB.

·        Familiarity with Kafka, AWS services, and Agile tools like Jira and Confluence.
