The Account Manager will be responsible for business development and revenue generation for Infor’s Distribution vertical. The Account Manager will identify and qualify new sales opportunities and execute an intelligent pursuit plan to sell Infor’s broadening Distribution product suite.  In addition, the Account Manager will maintain successful relationships with clients beyond the initial software sale.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Working with prospective clients to understand their business objectives and create appropriate solution to meet their business needs.
  • Articulating the Infor value proposition and successfully communicate the competitive advantages, resources and processes to client and prospects.
  • Developing value propositions based on ROI cost/benefit analysis.
  • Creating customer account strategies and tactical go-to-market plans while establishing, documenting, and maintaining solid communication and follow-up procedures for all assigned accounts.
  • Working with the extended team to pipeline development, net new, upsell, and cloud upgrade account strategies.
  • Maintaining a healthy pipeline and achieving consistent quarterly quota.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Value selling in a software environment.
  • Manage and develop executive level customer relationships and experience sharing technical presentations.
  • Experience leading sales cycles simultaneously.
  • Experience developing business relationships with extended team members to drive sales.
  • Experience working in a quota-based role.
  • Legal Authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Wholesale Distribution industry experience.
  • Experience selling into Food & Beverage industries.
  • Willingness to Travel. (Min of 25%)

US Remote (East and Central Time Zones preferred)
