Beschreibung & Anforderungen

Position Summary:

  • iSeries Cloud Ops team is working 24x7 and supporting ERP XA, LX and System 21 customers globally.
  • Right now few of the senior consultants in the team were focused on managing operations along with  on going complex implementations (onboarding, provisioning, cut-over, go-live support and hyper care).
  • These implementations are very complex with Hybrid solutions (iSeries ERP  hosted in Fresche Data center and Infor OS hosted in AWS MT).
  • These  senior consultants taking work loads and also leading the few other  upgrade/migration projects (OS upgrade, H/W migration and application upgrades) .
  • Work load of senior consultants increasing exponentially as we are adding new customers in every quarter with back log on the go-lives.     Recruiting this replacement who has 5 years of experience to iSeries operations will reduce the workload on the senior consultants as they can share the work with new resource and help them to focus on their implementations and migration/upgrade projects and can maintain great quality and focus on better customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

  • 24X7 Operations
  • Monitoring
  • Backup and restores
  • Daily tickets handling
  • Change management
  • Coordinate with customers
  • Coordinate with multiple vendors on maintenance windows through ticketing portals
  • Providing training to early talents
  • Mentoring Early talents and guiding them in their tasks

Basic Qualifications:

  • AS400 administrator with 5 years of experience in operations
  • OSV7R1 and above
  • Good written and communication skills
  • Good troubleshooting skills on OS400 issues like printers, writers, analyse messages, Startup issues, application issues etc
  • Good knowledge on monitoring tools
  • Good knowledge on Job schedulers (IBM Native or Robot)
  • Good knowledge on Backup and restores.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge on BRMS and Halcyon tools
  • Knowledge on Flash copy backups
  • Knowledge on replication tools QEDD/HASAN
  • Knowledge on Journal management
  • Knowledge on AS400 concepts
  • Knowledge on disaster recovery (Role swap)
  • Knowledge of any ERP applications running on AS400
