Description & Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer with a focus on Incident Response to join our cloud-focused software company. Reporting to the Sr. Director of the Information Security Office and working closely with our entire global workforce to identify, investigate, and identify root cause of cybersecurity incident.  There will be responsibility for developing cybersecurity incident response plans and working with the business to train and test plans.  As part of a global team the Security Engineer will respond to incidents to ensure timely and appropriate resolutions.   

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Partnering with the Security Operations Team to investigate cybersecurity incidents.
  • Working on documentation for processes and incident handling.
  • Writing executive summaries of cybersecurity incidents for review and historical purposes.
  • Partnering with the rest of security team on project initiatives to ensure understand impact to incident response.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience partnering with teams for investigations, recovery, and responses.
  • Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, Windows Event logs, etc.
  • Experience documenting and summarizing findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in investigating incidents or anonymous situations.
  • Fundamental knowledge of SaaS/Cloud architecture (AWS).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in either Information technology or Cybersecurity for a software or other high-tech company.
  • Security+ Certification
  • EC-Council CSA Certification.
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification.
