Description & Requirements

The Automation Quality Assurance Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the successful release of high-quality software products. Working within the M3 Content Delivery Team, this position is responsible for overseeing all testing phases of production releases—executing both manual and automated testing to uphold company standards. The QA Automation Engineer documents errors, performs root cause analyses, recommends solutions, and conducts regression testing to ensure issues are resolved effectively.

 

Basic Qualifications

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Hands-on experience with software development or product testing
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies and testing best practices
  • Experience creating and executing test cases and scripts
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks
  • Proficient in defect tracking software (JIRA preferred)
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
  • Effective judgment and team collaboration skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to quality and continuous learning
  • Understanding of User Experience (UX) principles

Preferred Qualifications

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Zephyr

 

 

A Day in the Life Typically Includes:

  • Building expertise in Infor applications and QA tools/processes used by the team
  • Designing and executing manual and automated test cases based on product requirements and design documents
  • Performing functional, regression, and ad-hoc testing across different environments
  • Seamlessly transitioning between manual and automated testing tasks as needed
  • Supporting the entire QA lifecycle, including setup and maintenance of test environments
  • Analyzing test results and reporting discrepancies through established channels
  • Conducting root cause analyses and suggesting strategic resolutions individually or collaboratively
  • Coordinating routine and unplanned QA tasks within the department's scope
  • Assisting with application development and upkeep from a QA perspective
  • Participating in peer code reviews for test scripts
  • Performing comprehensive regression testing before release cycles
  • Partnering with management to continuously improve QA processes and practices
  • Documenting QA processes and maintaining functional documentation in the QA wiki
  • Keeping team leadership informed on timelines, progress, and critical updates
