Description & Requirements

Our team thrives on creativity, technology, and collaboration. We are currently looking to build our learning product development team and are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning Designer to join our team in crafting exceptional learning experiences supporting high quality training programs aimed at improving skills, knowledge, and performance in Infor products. 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Collaborate with SMEs to identify and acquire product content and knowledge through active listening and source material review
  • Understand, organize, and integrate this product information to design and develop effective and engaging learning assets
  • Write learning content using a variety of course authoring tools
  • Learn and develop additional skills as needed, including new tools, new design approaches, etc.
  • Complete project management tasks such as updating Jira stories, scheduling, and submitting content for review, etc.
  • Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and partner with other departments, including, product development, and engineering to gather content and ensure technical accuracy in the learning materials
  • Track and report progress on learning design projects to senior management, idenifying risks or delays and proposing solutions
  • Ensure the quality of learning materials through thorough review and feedback processes
  • By participating in onboarding and continuous education and enablement, you will become a Subject Matter Expert for the MES product

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design or a related field, or relevant experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing technical courseware/training materials that includes Levels 2-4 evaluations
  • Minimum 3 years of experience developing learning validation and evaluations at Infor or another company
  • Advanced experience using Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Intermediate experience and skills in relevant exam and assessment authoring tools, project tracking systems, and exam and digital badge delivery platforms (e.g., Kryterion Webassessor, Credly, Smartsheet, Iteman, etc.)
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat Professional and Photoshop/graphic editing application
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion in a virtual team environment
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Experience working with Subject Matter Experts
  • Establish credibility and create confidence with SMEs and stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt to ambiguous or changing business priorities, needs, and resources
  • Ability to lead and motivate in a team environment
  • Ability to develop learning validation standards and development processes
What Will Put You Ahead?

  • Experience designing and developing legally defensible certification exams
  • Ability to work with customers/stakeholders regarding unique learning validation needs
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the MES industry
  • Experience working with Jira and developing products using Agile principles
  • Innovation-based mindset that analyze learning validation needs into tangible learning evaluation and certification offerings AI certification platform experience
  • Experience in the healthcare industry developing learning and/or learning validation
