The Associate IT Project Manager plays a key role in supporting IT projects by coordinating project activities, monitoring progress, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth project execution. This role assists project managers in meeting project goals, managing resources, and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. This role will work under limited supervision towards the execution of IT projects. The Associate IT Project Manager will be responsible for taking ownership of aspects of the project plans and following established project management processes to launch projects.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Work with IT Project Managers, IT Business Relationship Manager, IT Development Teams, 3rd Party Vendors, and Business Stakeholders to take ownership of parts of project plans, including scope, timeline, and resources planning.
  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of project activities. Maintain project documentation, including timelines, action items, follow up on action items and status updates.
  • Tracks tasks and action items to both internal individuals and 3rd parties, keeps the project on schedule, identifies project risks, and escalates issues to project manager.
  • Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other departments. Prepare and distribute regular project reports and updates.
  • Help monitor project risks and issues, proactively identifying potential roadblocks. Coordinate with the project manager to implement mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain comprehensive project records, including meeting notes, change requests, and approvals, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with company standards. Creates reports and other project artifacts, under the guidance of the lead project manager.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management methodologies.
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working on IT projects.
  • Experience working with international teams.
