Overview:

The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality for software products. This role involves leveraging expertise in testing methodologies to design comprehensive test strategies, identify defects, and implement solutions that enhance product reliability. Collaboration with development and product teams is essential to drive quality initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Additionally, this position includes mentoring junior QA staff and elevating testing practices to meet the evolving demands of customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Mentors’ quality analysts on methodologies, technologies, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Defines and documents QA/Testing methodologies and processes.
  • Drive QA initiatives amongst different product teams.
  • Collaboration with BAs, Dev, and Product Owners
  • Review, maintain and create test coding standards and processes.
  • Actively participate in planning, preparing, and executing effective test efforts
  • Effectively use test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools and identify and implement process improvements where applicable
  • Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled
  • Report the status of test planning, defects, and execution activities, including regular status updated to the project team using quality metrics
  • Ensure traceability between product requirements, delivered code and test case verification
  • Become subject matter expert in respective modules, maintain expert functional and technical product knowledge
  • Participate in planning and/or creation of test automation

Key Requirements/Experience:

  • 6-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance field
  • Strong knowledge of any Programming Language and Database
  • Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architectures
  • Flexible to work across different time zones

Desired Requirements/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering or a related field of study
  • Knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology
  • Previous experience and/or desire to write automated tests
  • Experience with both Jira, Zephyr and other Atlassian tools
  • Knowledge of AWS/Cloud Multi-Tenant application architectures
  • Knowledge of Workforce Management product
