Position Summary
The Cloud System Engineer Associate is responsible for delivering Cloud Operations services, including maintaining applications and technical environments, troubleshooting issues, applying configuration changes and patches, and managing data copies. This role supports high-availability, mission-critical systems and collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure service excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Operate in a 24x5x365 support environment, ensuring system uptime and reliability.
· Execute scheduled tasks and operational procedures within defined service and quality standards.
· Collaborate with internal teams to resolve incidents, fulfill service requests, and support project delivery.
· Participate in training programs and assist in onboarding and mentoring new team members.
· Manage daily operational tasks following established processes and documentation standards.
· Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Basic Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (BTech/MCA) or equivalent experience.
· 0–2 years of experience in system administration or cloud operations in a high-availability environment.
· Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux system administration (IIS/JBoss).
· Exposure to cloud computing platforms, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
· Strong communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
· Ability to document technical changes and automation efforts clearly.
· Experience supporting ERP systems and workflow engine applications.
· Self-driven with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Infor applications is a plus.
· AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Associate-level).
· Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages; familiarity with AWS SDKs.
· Working knowledge of IIS/Tomcat, Active Directory, databases, and operating systems.
· Prior experience in a customer service or client-facing technical support role.
