We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator with strong performance tuning and TSQL skills to help manage a large enterprise fleet in the cloud. The successful candidate will have deep database knowledge, Performance Tuning skillset, very strong problem-solving skills, and project management skills. Experience with other database management systems such as DB2 or Oracle is useful but not required. Cloud Experience strongly preferred.

Essential Duties:

· Understanding of SQL Server and Microsoft Windows. This includes backups, recovery, and tuning

· Programming/Scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, Bash, Perl, or other scripting languages
· PowerShell and T-SQL programming and Execution

· SQL Server Database Administration and Performance-Tuning

· Participation in DevOps processes

· Windows O.S. management and Tuning

· Backup and Recovery tasks

· Capacity planning

· hands-on/experience with AWS services

· Knowledge of other RDBMS like PostgreSQL.

· Knowledge of other operating systems such as Linux.

· Problem-solving skills

· Ability to learn new technology quickly

· Flexibility to work in different shifts.
· Project management skills
· Experience with Storage systems

· Experience with Networks

· Flexibility to work in different shifts.
