We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development, experience designing and building microservices architectures, and proficiency in modern containerization and cloud technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and robust solutions for our applications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Software Development and Design:
• Architect, design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices-based applications using Java.
• Ensure code quality through best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, and automated testing.
2. Microservices Architecture:
• Design and implement modular, maintainable, and reusable microservices adhering to domain-driven design principles.
• Integrate microservices using REST APIs, gRPC, or event-driven patterns.
3. Containerization and Orchestration:
• Develop, package, and manage application containers using Docker.
• Deploy and orchestrate containerized applications in Kubernetes clusters.
4. Cloud and DevOps:
• Leverage AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and ECS/EKS for application hosting and scaling.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployments.
5. Performance and Optimization:
• Analyze and optimize application performance to ensure low latency and high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve scalability and reliability issues in distributed systems.
6. Collaboration and Mentorship:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality products.
• Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and fostering professional growth.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Programming Languages: Strong expertise in Java 8+ and frameworks like Spring Boot or Quarkus.
• Microservices: Hands-on experience in building and managing microservices-based systems.
• Containerization: Proficient in Docker for containerizing applications.
• Orchestration: Experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes environments.
• Cloud Platforms: Strong knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway).
• Databases: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB).
• Testing and CI/CD: Knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Version Control: Proficiency in Git and related workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Experience with security best practices for cloud-based applications.
• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
