Infor is seeking an experienced Technical Architect, Principal who will be responsible for providing a world-class customer experience via proactively maximizing adoption and value within the client’s deployment, as well as building robust relationships with executive and technical team members. The TAM will work collaboratively within the Customer Success Organization to develop and implement a cohesive approach to optimizing Business Intelligence success through Infor-Birst tools and services. The TAM’s role is critical to customer success and works to help guide and enable the customer technically via a paid subscription model. The successful candidate will excel serving as an ongoing trusted advisor by creating consultative relationships with assigned customers in order to assist (and sometimes push) in reaching their business goals.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Ramp up efficiently to work in year-long+ engagements with customers to understand their organizational structure, business model, and Business Intelligence goals to effectively use Infor-Birst tools and solutions to reach their desired business outcomes.
  • Proactively partner with customers to define and implement Business Intelligence best practices that meet their business needs and lead to increased value of their Birst deployment—as evidenced by the rate and value of renewals, upsell opportunities, customer satisfaction scores, and reference ability.
  • Drive engagement with Birst tools and services through ongoing weekly calls to provide customer specific recommendations for creating optimal Business Intelligence program and customer business success.
  • Collaborate with other Technical Account Managers to efficiently find solutions for TAM accounts both within and outside of your portfolio.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Technical Support, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to provide a world-class customer experience.
  • Provide expertise on Birst tools and advise on key features and functionality in order to make strategic recommendations.
  • Understand and exhibit domain expertise in data modelling, report development, data integration, data transformation and Business Intelligence industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data warehousing software and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Experience working in a customer management/success role communicating and developing business relationships with our customers.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and MicroStrategy.
  • Experience working in SQL with RDBMS tools like SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, Postgres etc. 
  • Experience working with business process owners developing the analysis of information through utilization of reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Experience working with multiple data modeling approaches (e.g star, snowflake schema designs), ETL and Data Integration tools like Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Data Stage, Data Integrator, etc.  
  • Project management experience working with Business Intelligence implementations from deployment through updates and deprecation using agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Customer Service, Professional Service Consultant or Account Technical Support role leading customer accounts.
  • Experience in a technical consulting role such as pre-sales engineering, technical account management or technical business analysis.
  • Experience with Infor specific applications (e.g., CloudSuite Distribution, CloudSuite Financials, HCM, M3A) or common ERP, CRM, marketing automation, and similar critical business applications commonly used as data sources for Business Intelligence.
  • Experience with appliance delivery models, including Windows and Linux server administration, network management, tuning of SQL Server or other relational databases, administration of Redshift and Snowflake, web application deployment via tomcat / IIS, and systems architecture, specifically with disaster recovery, clustering, failover resilience design.
