The Partner Acquisition Manager is responsible for identifying, engaging, and selling prospective reseller partners on the value of joining Infor’s reseller program. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, inbound lead filtering, and consultative selling to ensure high-value reseller candidates enter the pipeline. The Partner Acquisition Manager will articulate the business value of Infor solutions and help prospective partners understand the revenue opportunities within their industry. A Day In The Life Typically Includes:
- Engaging with potential reseller partners in the Distribution or Industrial Manufacturing industry and guiding them through the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Coaching and inspiring new partners, fostering excitement about reselling and helping them navigate onboarding requirements.
- Educating partners on Distribution and/or Industrial Manufacturing solutions and the business challenges in the industrial manufacturing sector.
- Collaborating with the Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) to align partners with strategic goals and ensure effective sales enablement.
- Delivering tailored training on presales, sales, delivery, and product knowledge to equip partners for success.
- Tracking partner progress, providing constructive feedback, and continuously improving the onboarding experience.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams, including marketing, partner program team, partner enablement team, partner operations team, and others to provide resources to new partners.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in Distribution and/or Industrial Manufacturing industry with knowledge of general business practices.
- Experience coaching and mentoring team members.
- Experience in partner recruitment, channel management, and/or net-new sales.
- Experience working with and presenting to customers at all levels.
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with supply chain software or SaaS-based solutions.
- Experience with Cloud Suite Industrial or similar ERP products.
- Experience in training, partner enablement, and Distribution / Industrial Manufacturing channel recruitment.
