Description & Requirements

We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills to manage financial statements. This person will be responsible for the monthly financial close processes and should be accustomed to working under tight deadlines, should also enjoy collaborating on intercompany processes, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries in accordance with proper accounting principles. Additionally, the candidate will assist with tax matters and lead the audit process, demonstrating the ability to work on various regional tasks while fostering a positive teamwork environment.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Take full accounting responsibility for the workstreams they are assigned.
  • Develop a high level of understanding of all areas of the workstream to be able to identify effectively and further analyze areas where there are potential issues through regular review of balance sheet reconciliations, Balance Sheet and P&L movements.
  • Work in the accounting close month for corporate and local books for Mexico & Colombia.
  • Integration and reconciliation balance sheet account and subledgers for internal control and for electronic accounting.
  • Coordinate Internal and External audits and Tax advisors, as required.
  • Work in the Intercompany process, payments, reconciliations, help prepare transfer price report for audit.
  • Responsible for reviewing the partner commission reconciliations, be able to understand the process for all the LATAM region and explain any discrepancy.


      Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in General Accounting (ideally within an SSC or multi-national environment).
  • Manage business relationships at all levels.
  • ERP management (Smart Stream, Oracle, SAP, or any others).
  • Accounting skills, including foreign currency transactions and tax knowledge.
  • Electronic accounting (CFDI, payment complement, etc.) experience.
  • Full proficiency in English.
  • Computer literacy (including Microsoft Office).


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project and process improvement.
  • Experience working with customers to identify and address problems.
  • Experience working in LATAM region.


Location: Montes Urales Norte 505, Col, Lomas de Chapultepec, Miguel Hidalgo, 11000 Ciudad de México (hybrid role – 3 days per week in the office).
