Description & Requirements

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to design and implement testing strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of QA methodologies, excellent technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

What You Will Need?
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on automation and performance testing.
  • Proven track record of leading QA efforts in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress, etc.).
    • Experience with programming/scripting languages like JavaScript, Java, or Python.
    • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
    • Familiarity with API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.


What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualification:
  • Experience with testing tools such as TestComplete, Cucumber, or PyTest.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based environments (AWS).
  • Familiarity with security testing tools and methodologies.
  • ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus.


A Day In A Life Typically Includes:
  • Define and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for functional, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify acceptance criteria.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, TestNG, or similar frameworks.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Execute exploratory, functional, and UI/UX testing as needed.
  • Validate software functionality across different platforms (desktop, mobile, web).
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira, or similar.
  • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and validate fixes.
  • Conduct performance, load, and stress testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
  • Analyze test results and recommend performance improvements.
  • Work closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure smooth delivery of software releases.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and provide technical guidance.
  • Generate test reports, defect metrics, and other QA documentation to track the quality of the product.
