Description & Requirements
The role of a Principal Consultant is pivotal, offering technical leadership and sales support throughout the customer engagement lifecycle. By leveraging industry best practices and comprehensive solution designs, Principal Consultant play a crucial role in ensuring customer success and achieving the desired business outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8-10 years of experience in enterprise software solutions, preferably with Infor products
• Prior solution architect or enterprise architect experience, preferably with Infor products
• Experience in intelligent automation, RPA, and AI/ML will be an advantage
• Industry experience in at least one of the following industries: Healthcare, Distribution, Industrial Manufacturing and/or Food and Beverage.
• Deep understanding of ERP / enterprise applications, business processes and automation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale complex projects.
• Ability to engage with customers and understand their requirements
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Preferred Skills:
Prior experience in Infor CloudSuites, Infor OS, RPA or AI would be an advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Understand customer requirements and provide technical expertise during the sales process.
• Conduct workshops and discovery sessions to support the innovation adoption / digital transformation agenda by successfully identifying use cases
• Develop and present solution proposals, including architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and cost estimates.
• Participate in customer meetings and presentations to articulate the value and benefits of proposed solutions.
• Lead the design and architecture of comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs and align with industry best practices.
• Oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers throughout the engagement lifecycle.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering solutions that meet or exceed expectations and address any technical issues that arise.
• Drive continuous improvement of methods, industry best practices, processes and solutions / products
• Best Practice knowledge sharing and active participation in relevant Industry Communities of Practice
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve solution offerings.
• Contribute to the development of reusable assets, templates, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the practice.
• Foster a culture of innovation by encouraging the adoption of new technologies and approaches
• Identify and develop innovative automation use cases.
• Develop PoCs to validate proposed solutions.
• Contribute to Infor’s enterprise automation and cloud innovation efforts.
