We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development and Operations Engineer that will join our Business Solutions Delivery team. You’ll help provide operational support to our Business Solutions Delivery team that manages our enterprise applications while maintaining the backend infra & services. You will be responsible for working with the AWS infrastructure, automation, troubleshooting and maintaining the backend infrastructure that supports all critical applications. You’ll work closely with the Dev & Support teams to ensure our systems are stable.

What You Will Need?

Basic Qualification:

  • 1-3 years of DevOps experience
  • Understanding of Windows Server operating system and SQL database.
  • Understands IT, Software Development Life Cycle and DevOps concepts and can utilize fundamental tools and documentation to complete basic DevOps tasks.
  • AWS Knowledge.
  • Scripting and automation using languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell experience.

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) concepts and practices (Gitlab preferred)
  • Experience with networking concepts, security principles, and best practices for cloud-based architectures.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience supporting ServiceNow and Salesforce.

A Day In A Life Typically Includes:

  • Support & maintain AWS infrastructure of all our IT applications which include provisioning, modifying, troubleshooting.
  • Automating the deployments, recurring jobs as required. Collaborate with Infra, Dev and Ops team members to seek ways and opportunities for automation.
  • Troubleshooting production issues
  • Coordinate with Engineering teams in onboarding the new applications & drive them through the DevOps best practices & standards
  • Implement Security best practices & vulnerability management
  • Continuous knowledge improvement on related technologies by completing online courses in Tigerhall and other sources.
  • Understands and embraces the Koch Principle Based Management (PBM) philosophy
  • Technical skills are practiced by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues on their issues.
  • Wiki pages are being updated and new processes are documented.
