Summary
We are looking for a talented Software Engineer for Dev support role. This role requires communication with customer support as well as Internal team on troubleshooting the issues based around Infor OS. Software engineer should have the ability to analyze the reported issues, analyze the technical low-level details, and engage with the customer support team and internal development team to get the issues resolved. The resource should have good exposure to technologies used for web-based applications, integrations, cloud solutions and should be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.

Education and work experience

  • Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field software development life cycle.
  • 2+ experience in similar field

Responsibilities

  • Experience with all phases of SDLC
  • Monitor and Analyze Jira tickets and support issues and gather low level details.
  • Engage with customer support to troubleshoot reported issues.
  • Engage with internal development team on customer reported issues.
  • Should interact efficiently within the team and other integrated technical details.
  • Stay up to date with new product features and their technical details.
  • Prepare Knowledge base articles for frequently reported issues.
  • Willingness to take up time critical tasks and also provide consistent updates on progress.

Required Skill set

  • Solid understanding of the modern web application stack.
  • Hands on experience with Windows, SQL, IIS
  • Experience with Ticket logging systems such as Jira and Service Now
  • Exposure and Knowledge on JavaScript, Java, jQuery and .NET applications are an advantage.
  • Exposure and understanding of cloud technologies (AWS) is an advantage.
  • Exposure and understanding of API tools such as Soap UI and Postman.
  • Understanding of micro services-based applications.
  • Monitoring of application/micro services hosted on cloud using monitoring tools such as Sumo logic
  • Understanding and knowledge of HTML, XML and JSON
  • Strong communication as well as troubleshooting Skills.
  • Proficient in technical problem-solving methodologies.
  • Troubleshooting issues with application logs, system logs.
  • Troubleshooting issues using tools such as Fiddler and browser traces.
