Description & Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Performance Engineer to join our Workforce Management organization. Infor Workforce Management is a powerful scheduling solution that focuses on employee scheduling, and time and attendance tracking, serving a Fortune 500 client portfolio.
Responsibilities
1. Build modular automated performance test scripts to identify load and scalability concerns
2. Analyze system behavior, isolate bottlenecks, investigate and troubleshoot performance and capacity problems in the performance testing environments
3. Summarize test results into simple concise summary reports and create thorough descriptions of test configurations and data analyses
4. Work with product teams to move performance testing earlier in the development process
5. Research new ways of performance testing and recommend system configuration and tuning improvements based on observations
6. Deploy AWS performance test environment
Required Skills
1. Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in performance testing
2. Expertise with industry standard performance testing tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner
3. Strong performance analysis abilities
4. Experience with Java programming language and Shell script
5. General scripting and SQL development skills (SQL queries)
6. Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architectures
Preferred Skills
1. Good Understanding of AWS concepts.
2. Working knowledge of continuous integration concepts and Jenkins tool
3. Knowledge of Jira and other Atlassian tools.
4. Knowledge of Sumo Logic log management tool
5. Knowledge of Oracle enterprise manager.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field of study
