The New Business Sales Executive (Account Manager, Senior) is responsible for identifying, qualifying and driving opportunities to a successful close in exclusively new business accounts. A strong understanding of the Distribution sector is required and extensive experience of selling EPR systems, or other cloud enterprise software systems into the relevant industry. 

You must be capable of developing executive level relationships and driving sales through account mapping, relationship building, opportunity planning, executive involvement and value selling.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Responsible for value driven solution sales to the assigned industry/territory.
  • A strategic leader, being able to express vision and trends of Infor and the market. 
  • Able to interact with customers and prospects to sell value through software solutions.
  • Manage complex sales cycles whilst working with virtual sales teams including pre-sales, development, professional services, lead generation, partners and support.
  • Work with extended teams to define and execute an integrated Go To Market plan and strategy across the territory.
  • Exceed sales quota – maintain forecast, pipeline and status updates in CRM.
  • Use lead generation and networking techniques to pursue net new business.
  • Work closely with the professional services team to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience of enterprise software sales, preferably including ERP sales.
  • Hunter-mentality, able to win new logos.
  • A demonstrated history of selling complex solutions into medium and large sized organisations.
  • Know-how of Cloud solutions.
  • Analytic and strategic thinker.
  • Must be able to apply a value driven approach.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Confidence and ability to interface professionally with a wide spectrum of customers including C-level executives.
  • A team player with the ability to lead virtual sales teams while building strong peer and interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to work with multiple customers/prospects.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills is essential.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred but not essential.
